Three years ago I started drawing in my sketchbook little comics about my childhood. With trembling hands it dawned on me that the time had come to release a burden I had been carrying in secret since longer than I can remember.

I worked nonstop and 45 pages later it was the best thing that I had ever done. It made waves in college, and now for the first time I’m putting it all online.

You’ll find the writing, drawing, and lettering to be pretty rough, which is why I now refer to this comic as my “manuscript.”

I have been working on the revised version for two years now, a process which has been incredibly difficult, but it is coming along.

My thanks go to Heinz Insu Fenkl, who encouraged me to make this move.
